Courses and Pricing
What does the Bartending Academy have to offer?
You may choose from either a morning or evening class and are given one-on-one training with an experienced instructor. Upon successful completion of our course, you will be awarded our internationally recognized Bartending Certificate and qualify for immediate employment as a professional bartender! That’s not all!
We also provide on the job training at well known bars and restaurants in which you will experience opening and closing procedures, stocking inventory, drink mixing, and more. You will also be evaluated by a manager which makes a great reference for your job hunting. You are also welcome to free practice sessions and lifetime job placement assistance.
What you can expect to learn here
Bar Equipment
Learn how to use the tools of the trade from muddlers to shakers and even kegs.
Bar Setup
We will teach you how to set yourself up for success in any bar environment. We will teach you to set up your bar for efficiency.
Liquor Fundamentals
Learn the basics of what goes into making liquor and what they are made of as well as what they taste like.
Art of Mixology
The heart and soul of bartending. Starting from the basic/classic drinks all the way up to creating your own specialty cocktails.
Customer Service
We teach you hot to create loyal guests that will keep you busy no matter what bar you are working at.
Speed Pouring
You need to be fast and able to make drinks in a timely manner. We teach speed through efficiency so you don't look stressed out in front of a big crowd of guests.
Liquor Laws
We will go over liquor laws for Hawaii and updates from the Honolulu City and County Liquor Commission. We will show you what to do and more importantly, what not to do.
Cash Register Management
Bartenders need to be the smartest, most trustworthy person in any establishment. This is why bartenders are normally in charge of cashiering for the entire establishment. We will teach you how to hand your duties as a cashiering bartender.
Three separate user friendly classes
Classes are Monday thru Friday from either 10am- 12pm or 6:30- 8:30pm and can run consecutively or at your convenience.
Entrance requirements: You must be at least 18 years of age. We don’t require any previous experience, but you must posses the aptitude necessary to perform the training in the classroom.
Course includes: Instruction, course booklet, materials, job placement assistance and on the job training.

Introduction to Bartending, Bartending mechanics, techniques and basic cocktails.
